ABOUT THE SOFTWARE

The family tree is displayed using PHPGedView software. This is open source software that controls the SQL database. The database is fed via my own GEDCOM file.

PHPGedView may look a little intimidating at first, but it is very powerful and has many great features. You can search on names, look at photos, explore lineages, download GEDCOM data, etc. Its really fun.

Perhaps the best thing to do is just explore. Click on things and see what they do. Otherwise, click on the "help" button, then select "Wiki User's Guide" and read how the various functions work.

An important point: as this is the public internet, showing data on living people has its risks. Therefore, data on living people will not be shown.
