ABOUT THE SOURCES

I have several sources. A chief source is, of course, data found on Ancestry.com - census', marriage records, other people's family trees, etc. (fyi, Don't trust family trees on Ancestry.com.)

Another source is the internet - just type in a name, place, date and see what comes up. Its amazing what you can find using this very simple method.

My favorite source is other people; I have met a number of really awesome distant relatives who were willing to share their own information, photos, etc.

Finally, the old fashioned "go and see" method - go to cemeteries to photograph headstones, go to libraries to look up records, write to record's departments to get copies of birth/marriage/death records, etc.
